StackOne AI Services Addendum
Effective 30 March 2026
Applicable to Customer Orders signed on or after 30 March 2026. (If you signed your Customer Order before this date, please access our legal archive at /terms/saas-terms#previous-versions for previous versions).
1. Purpose and Scope
1.1 This AI Services Addendum (this “Addendum”) applies to Customers that use artificial intelligence (“AI”)-powered features made available by StackOne Technologies Limited (“StackOne”) in connection with the Service (collectively, “AI Features”) and supplements the terms of the Terms and Conditions or other agreement for Customer’s use of the Service (the “Agreement”) entered into between StackOne and Customer.
1.2 Capitalised terms used but not defined herein have the meanings given in the Agreement, or if not defined in the Agreement, in the Terms and Conditions located at /terms/saas-terms (or such successor URL as may be designated by StackOne). By accessing or using the AI Features, Customer agrees to be bound by this Addendum.
1.3 Except as modified herein, the Agreement governs use of the AI Features and every reference to the Service shall be deemed to also refer to the AI Features so that the rights and obligations therein continue to apply.
1.4 If the AI Features are an experimental, AI-powered service provided on a preview or similar basis, then such AI Features shall be subject to the Preview Features terms in the Agreement (Clause 2.6 of the Terms and Conditions). StackOne will identify and label each AI Feature as “preview”, “beta”, so that Users can readily recognise when they are engaging with such functionality. Discontinuing or making AI Features inaccessible may result in related AI Content becoming inaccessible to Customer, and no liability attaches to such discontinuation.
1.5 As of the Effective Date, the core Service operates using deterministic processing. AI Features are optional enhancements that involve machine learning or artificial intelligence processing. StackOne will clearly identify AI-powered functionality within the Service.
2. Use of AI Features
2.1 Optional Features. The AI Features are optional and are not required to use the Service. Customer must affirmatively elect to use AI Features.
2.2 Input and Output. If Customer elects to use an AI Feature, Customer may submit information or data into the AI Feature (“Input”) and receive output generated by the AI Feature based on such Input (“Output”). Input and Output together are referred to as “AI Content”. Input processed by StackOne and the resulting Output are your Customer Data. StackOne applies permission-based context filtering so that each user’s AI interactions are scoped to the data that user is authorised to access within the platform. StackOne will not surface or process Customer Data that the requesting user does not have permission to view.
2.3 A2A Interactions. A2A (Agent-to-Agent) Interactions involve communications between AI Agents facilitated by the Service using the A2A protocol. A2A Interactions process data through AI. When Customer enables A2A Interactions, Customer acknowledges that: (a) data exchanged between AI Agents will be processed by AI systems; (b) Customer is responsible for configuring which agents may communicate and what actions they may take; (c) Customer is responsible for implementing appropriate controls, permissions, and monitoring; and (d) the terms of this Addendum apply to all A2A Interactions.
2.4 Integration Builder Agent. StackOne may offer AI-powered tools that assist in creating new integrations (“Integration Builder Agent”). Use of Integration Builder Agent features is subject to this Addendum.
3. Ownership
3.1 AI Content. As between Customer and StackOne, to the extent permitted by law and subject to this Addendum and the Agreement, Customer owns all right, title, and interest in and to the AI Content (excluding any StackOne Documentation that may be contained therein).
3.2 StackOne Rights. StackOne retains and owns all right, title, and interest in and to: (a) the AI Features, Service, StackOne Integrations, and Documentation; (b) Anonymised AI Data (as defined below); (c) any improvements to the Service or the AI Features resulting from the processing of Anonymised AI Data; and (d) any feedback or suggestions regarding the AI Features provided by Customer.
3.3 Anonymised AI Data. “Anonymised AI Data” means any data and information that is derived or generated from the use or provision of the AI Features that is anonymised such that Customer, End Customer (where applicable), and Customer-designated Users cannot be re-identified.
3.4 Similar Outputs. Customer acknowledges and agrees that AI Features may generate the same or similar Output for StackOne or third parties, and such responses are not considered Customer’s Output. StackOne may develop products or services that are or may be similar to Customer’s Output, and StackOne exclusively owns all right, title, and interest in and to such products and services.
4. Customer Responsibilities
4.1 Input
Customer represents and warrants that Customer has all rights, licences, and permissions required to provide Input to the AI Features. Customer is solely responsible for Customer’s Input and End Customer’s Input. Customer will ensure that Customer’s and End Customer’s Input will not: (a) violate any Applicable Law or regulation, this Addendum, or the Agreement; or (b) infringe, violate, or misappropriate any of StackOne’s rights or the rights of any third party.
Customer agrees that Customer will not include any personal data or sensitive personal data of any individual (including data that reveals racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, health data, or data concerning anyone’s sex life or sexual orientation) in any Input to the AI Features, unless Customer has: (i) obtained all necessary consents; (ii) established a lawful basis for such processing; and (iii) notified StackOne in writing and received StackOne’s written confirmation.
4.2 Output
Outputs are generated through machine learning processes and may be misleading, inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or reflect bias. Customer is responsible for: (a) all decisions, actions, or omissions arising from its use of the AI Features and Outputs; (b) ensuring compliance with all Applicable Laws related to data protection, intellectual property, and the use of artificial intelligence or machine learning; (c) evaluating and verifying all Outputs before use or reliance; (d) adopting reasonable safeguards, including appropriate human oversight, to prevent the use of Outputs in ways that are unlawful, unsuitable, or infringe upon the rights of others; and (e) any conclusions drawn from, or decisions made based on, the use of Outputs.
Outputs are not tested, verified, endorsed, or guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current by StackOne or its providers.
4.3 Acceptable Use
Customer’s use of the AI Features is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. In addition to the restrictions in the Acceptable Use Policy, Customer shall not use AI Features or any AI Content to build, train, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning models, or to develop products or services that compete with the Service or AI Features. In addition, Customer shall review and comply with the applicable terms and policies of Third-Party AI Providers as listed at https://trust.stackone.com, as updated from time to time, which are incorporated into this Addendum by reference.
5. High-Risk Use Cases
5.1 Restrictions. Customer shall not use AI Features for decisions or actions that:
(a) significantly affect individuals’ legal rights, employment, credit, insurance, or access to essential services;
(b) involve healthcare diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or medical decision-making;
(c) involve autonomous control of physical systems or critical infrastructure;
(d) involve law enforcement, criminal justice, or immigration decisions; or
(e) are prohibited under applicable AI regulation (including the EU AI Act, where applicable),
unless Customer has implemented:
(i) meaningful human oversight with the ability to override AI-generated recommendations;
(ii) appropriate documentation and audit trails;
(iii) compliance with all Applicable Laws, including any sector-specific AI regulations; and
(iv) notified StackOne in writing and received StackOne’s written acknowledgement.
5.2 Regulatory Compliance. Customer is solely responsible for ensuring that its use of AI Features complies with all applicable AI-specific laws and regulations, including the EU AI Act (where applicable), and any sector-specific requirements.
5.3 Disclaimer. StackOne disclaims all liability arising from Customer’s use of AI Features in high-risk contexts or in breach of this Section 5.
6. Model Training and Third-Party AI Providers
6.1 Third-Party Providers. AI Features may involve third-party providers (e.g., language models or search-based services), as listed at https://trust.stackone.com. StackOne uses providers that are contractually committed to: (a) processing data only to fulfil their services; (b) not using Customer data, Inputs, or Outputs to train their own models; and (c) terms at least as protective as this Addendum.
6.2 Consent to Data Sharing. Customer acknowledges that any Input Customer provides, including any personal data included therein, may be shared with the third-party service providers StackOne engages to enable AI Features. Customer consents to personal data included in any Input being transferred to such third parties for the purpose of providing AI Features.
6.3 AI Feature Suspension. StackOne may suspend Customer’s access to AI Features (in addition to any suspension rights under the Agreement) where: (a) a Third-Party AI Provider requires such suspension or has suspended or terminated StackOne’s access to services required to enable AI Features; (b) continued provision of AI Features is prohibited by Applicable Law or required by a governmental authority; or (c) StackOne reasonably determines that suspension is necessary to prevent material harm to StackOne, the Service, or its customers. Where practicable, StackOne will provide prior notice of any such suspension.
7. Indemnification
Customer will defend, indemnify and hold harmless StackOne and its Affiliates and their respective officers, directors, employees, and licensors (collectively, “StackOne Indemnified Parties”) from and against (i) any damages and costs incurred by the StackOne Indemnified Parties; or (ii) any damages or costs or any amount agreed to in settlement by Customer (including reasonable legal fees) in connection with any claims, actions, and demands brought by a third party against the StackOne Indemnified Parties arising from or related to: (a) AI Content; (b) Customer’s use of AI Features in breach of this Addendum or the Agreement; or (c) Customer’s use of AI Features in high-risk contexts in breach of Section 5.
8. Disclaimers
8.1 THE AI FEATURES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. STACKONE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE AI FEATURES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, NOR DOES IT MAKE ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY OUTPUT. AI FEATURES ARE NOT SUBJECT TO ANY SERVICE LEVEL COMMITMENTS SET OUT IN THE AGREEMENT, AND ANY DOWNTIME OR UNAVAILABILITY OF AI FEATURES WILL NOT CONSTITUTE DOWNTIME FOR THE PURPOSES OF ANY SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT.
8.2 STACKONE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
8.3 CUSTOMER ASSUMES SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONCLUSIONS DRAWN FROM, AND DECISIONS MADE BASED ON, THE USE OF AI FEATURES AND OUTPUTS.
8.4 THE DISCLAIMERS IN THIS SECTION 8 APPLY IN ADDITION TO, AND DO NOT LIMIT, THE DISCLAIMERS IN THE AGREEMENT.
9. General Terms
9.1 Order of Precedence. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Agreement, in the event of any conflict between the Agreement (including any terms incorporated therein) and this Addendum, this Addendum shall control for Customer’s use of the AI Features.
9.2 Updates. This Addendum may be updated by StackOne from time to time upon reasonable notice, which may be provided through the Service or by publishing an updated version of this Addendum at /terms/ai-services-addendum. If StackOne makes updates, StackOne will update the effective date at the top of this Addendum. By continuing to use the AI Features after an update, Customer agrees to the latest version of this Addendum.
9.3 Survival. Sections 3 (Ownership), 4 (Customer Responsibilities), 5 (High-Risk Use Cases), 7 (Indemnification), 8 (Disclaimers), and 9 (General Terms) shall survive termination or expiration of this Addendum or the Agreement.
