Do I need to create my own auth app to connect LinkedIn to StackOne?
Only if you use OAuth. LinkedIn also offers Access Token auth (no auth app needed). Generate or obtain a token and paste it into the StackOne dashboard auth config for the LinkedIn connector. For OAuth, you'd register a LinkedIn Developer App and enable OpenID Connect and Share products instead. See the LinkedIn auth docs.
