A StackOne connector profile is the configuration of a connector within a project. It sets the authentication setup, which actions and events are available, and who can link accounts through it. Share a profile with users or groups so they can connect their own accounts with those actions.

In StackOne, connector profile access decides who can link a new account, while account access decides who can use an account that's already connected. The profile also defines the available actions. Sharing a profile doesn't grant access to accounts already linked through it.

A StackOne user can use a connected account when they hold an account role, through a direct grant, a group grant or an inherited role. Viewer can see account details, Member can run actions and Admin can also manage the account. The explicit-access setting changes what administrators inherit.

Not always. By default, StackOne project administrators inherit account access. With explicit account access turned on, an administrator without a grant can view account details but needs Member access to run actions or Admin access to manage the account.

A StackOne connector profile pinned to an exact connector version keeps that version until you change it. To try an update, test the new version on a separate profile before moving production. A profile that follows Latest doesn't give the same fixed-version guarantee.
