Do I need to create my own auth app to connect Lever to StackOne?

Yes, you need an auth app via Lever's Partner Program. Apply to Lever; once approved, register an OAuth app in Lever Settings > Integrations > OAuth and receive Client ID and Secret from the Lever team. Paste both into the StackOne dashboard auth config for the Lever connector. See the Lever auth docs.
